I am Clare Townley, and LeClair Skincare began with a simple question. Why is it so difficult to find skincare that truly delivers on its promises?

Growing up near the Lakes, I was surrounded by clean air, still water and quiet, natural beauty. Those early experiences taught me the value of purity and simplicity. They shaped my belief that what we put on our skin should feel honest and uncomplicated.

My work across the beauty industry gave me the opportunity to collaborate with people and brands throughout the UK. I learned what clients were searching for, what they enjoyed and where they felt let down. Time and time again, I heard the same concerns. Ingredient lists that felt overwhelming. Products that did not meet expectations. Routines that felt more like tasks than moments of care.

I wanted to create something that felt different. Skincare that was clear, effective and rooted in genuine intention.

LeClair was born from this idea. Every formulation is developed with care and attention, shaped by years spent understanding real skin concerns and listening to what people need. I create each product with the same standards I expect for my own routine. Thoughtful ingredients. Clean formulations. A focus on what truly benefits the skin.

LeClair is not about trends. It is about integrity. It is about giving people skincare that feels calm, confident and reassuring. Skincare that works without unnecessary complexity.
